      As a Registered Land Surveyor in the State of Indiana, I have performed a broad range of surveying and engineering services, both as an independent business owner and as an employee, to local and national firms, such as Bonar & Associates, Inc. (now Bonar Group), Karst Surveying Services, Inc., Sverdrup Civil, Inc., and DLZ Indiana, LLC.  The projects highlighted below are a sampling of some of the projects for which I have performed engineering services. 

 McCrea Land Surveying, Inc. projects

• Boundary and topography of 208 acres in Portland for an extreme sports complex being designed by MSKTD & Associates.

• Construction staking for a streetscape project in Niles Michigan.

• Site design of Emmanuel Lutheran Church (storm water and detention).

• Location Route Control Survey and topography for road improvements and realignment of Argonne Road and Parker Street in Warsaw, Indiana.

• Right-of-Way Engineering for the City of Fort Wayne at Lahmeyer and St. Joseph Center Roads and the intersection of Wells Street and Franke Park Drive.

• Allen County Highway Department right-of-way engineering, location route control survey and topography for Sumpter Drive extension.

• Topography and Easements for storm sewer design through Woolpert LLC for the City of Fort Wayne.

 Projects when employed at DLZ Indiana, LLC

• Location Control Route Survey and topography for Union Chapel and Tonkel road improvements.

• Location Control Route Survey and topography for Union Chapel & State Route 1 Road intersection improvements.

• Topography and location control route survey for Aboite Center Road road improvements.

• Location Control Route Survey, research, topography, and staking alignments for Interstate I-69 road widening project, phases I, II, and III.

• State Route 13 route re-alignment, topography, and staking new alignments.

• State Route 19 route alignment, topography, and staking alignments.

• U.S. 224 alignment, research, topography, and staking alignments.

• State Route 37 culvert replacement, alignment, research, ditch profile, and staking alignments.

 Projects when employed at McCrea Technical Services

• CSX second main expansion across Indiana. While a subcontractor to Sverdrup Civil (based in St. Louis, MO now Jacobs) my primary duties included scheduling surveying projects, laying out switches, crossovers, and sidings. Also directing and scheduling the excavation crews.

 Projects when employed at RK Karst & Associates (now Karst Surveying Services)

• Construction layout for three Meijers Stores in Fort Wayne.

• Construction layout for I-469 from Wheelock Road to the St Joe River.

• Construction layout for six schools.

• Construction layout for four Walmart stores.

• Construction layout for eight Subdivisions.

• Topography and drafting for the City of Fort Wayne’s waterline to Nestlé’s building

• Volume calculations, well monitoring, and detention pond design for the Adams Center Landfill.

• Layout of run way lighting for Fort Wayne Airport.

• Subdivision layout.

• Plan and profile for multiple road projects.
